What can be more pleasant than a horse ride? Come and join us for a ride on horseback in Montauroux (Var department). Far away from the urban turmoil, we will drive you to a preserved site near Lake Saint-Cassien. Across the natural reserve of Fondurane, rides may last from an hour to a day depending on your wishes, on your level and on your budget.
Picnic, swimming, aperitif, friendly moments, and horse petting will punctuate your riding tour. For ten years, we have been pampering our horses and giving them optimal living conditions, as close as possible to their natural needs. They live in herds, roam freely in their park, they eat several times a day and are properly fed. For outings, we equip them with saddles adapted to their morphology.

RIDES FOR ALL
Ride for family - €35 (and €30 under 8 years old)
Come and explore the lake while doing a horse promenade with your family. The parents are on horses whereas the kids are on ponies. You will enjoy a great moment of shared and unforgettable memories... For the safety of the youngest ones, you will be supervised by an equestrian tourism’s instructor on foot.
Discovery of Lake Saint-Cassien - €50 (≃ 2 hours)
The Lake Saint-Cassien Tour takes about two hours. Choose your itinerary and go through the forest and wild trails or cross watercourses while observing the beautiful view on the lake. Everything will be ideal to enjoy a pleasant family outing.
"Fun tour" (half a day) - €62
Three hours of all-level activity for a great half-day: you will enjoy peaceful paces, charming landscapes, beautiful viewpoints and a swimming break (without the horse) on the lake shore. Have fun with your family and do not be afraid of the following day aches and pains. Many of you asked for it, now let’s go!
EXPERIENCED RIDERS
Half-day « Ridge Horse Riders » - €76
Let’s go for a three and a half hours' ride on ridges. Enjoy the view on the lake, hilltop villages with a sea background. From 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, ride the paths along the lake with three different paces. This ride is a must-do for the fearless adventurer that you are!
Day trip “Sport and Relax” – €110
On the Tanneron side, you discover atypical and wild paths. During the day, enjoy a picnic and swimming stop without worrying about carrying your stuff (swimsuit, towel, food, hammock...). After about five hours and a half on horseback, Les Poun’s en Herbe will offer you an aperitif without alcohol to end the trip. To participate in this trip, riders must be confident with the three rides paces and should be at least 10 years old.
Day trip “The Two Lakes” – €110
Departure from the Club for an all-day hike to the beautiful lake of Rioutard in Saint Paul en Forêt. We'll follow shady paths and trails at all three paces, with a picnic lunch and a dip in the lake. We'll come across sites such as castles, dolmens, streams and ridges... Approx. 5h30 on horseback. Departure 9am, return around 6pm.
Les Poun's en Herbe provide the aperitif (alcohol-free) and carry swimwear, towels, picnics and hammocks in saddlebags. Riders must be confident in all three paces or Galop 3, and be at least 12 years old.
Sunset excursion – €95
Every Thursday between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, this splendid ride offers you a beautiful sunset view spot while enjoying a free aperitif. We provide drinks, but also security vests and headlamps for the way back at dusk. An original, dazzling and peaceful moment. Enjoy this beautiful horse ride in the evening coolness. Riders must be comfortable with all three paces and be, at least, 16 years old.
